For us, Duncansdoodles isn’t simply about breeding puppies. It’s about raising happy, confident, well-socialised dogs and supporting the families who welcome them into their lives. We believe that bringing a puppy home is the beginning of a relationship, not the end of a transaction — and we’re here to help every step of the way.

Our journey has grown from a genuine love of dogs into a family way of life. Over the years, we’ve gained experience in breeding, puppy care, training, behaviour, grooming, nutrition, enrichment and everything else that comes with living alongside dogs. And if there’s one thing we’ve learned, it’s that every dog is an individual.

More than just puppies

At Duncansdoodles, we want to give our puppies the very best start we possibly can.

From the moment they are born, our puppies are surrounded by people, sounds, experiences and plenty of love. We take their early development seriously, because those first weeks can help shape the confident, curious dogs they become.

But our commitment doesn’t stop when a puppy leaves us.

We love keeping in touch with our Duncansdoodles families and being there for the questions, the celebrations, the challenges and the funny stories that inevitably come with owning a dog!

Because let’s be honest — puppies don’t come with an instruction manual!

Training for real life

Our experience with dogs has also led us into dog training and behaviour.

We believe training should be fun, practical and achievable, without making owners feel overwhelmed. Whether you have just brought home a puppy or you’ve got an older dog who needs a little help, we’re passionate about helping dogs and their humans understand each other better.

Our training isn’t about creating a “perfect” dog.

It’s about creating a happy dog who can confidently enjoy everyday life — and an owner who understands how to communicate with them.

That’s why we also offer training, advice, enrichment ideas and plenty of hints and tips for dogs of all ages.

Family is at the heart of Duncansdoodles

One of the things that makes Duncansdoodles special is that it really is a family affair.

There are lots of different roles behind the scenes — from breeding, training and grooming to nutrition, enrichment, puppy care, administration, maintenance, gardening, cleaning and, of course, plenty of dog cuddles!

Everyone has their part to play, and somehow the dogs manage to keep us all busy!

Our dogs aren’t simply part of the business — they are our family.

They are involved in our everyday lives, helping us learn, laugh and occasionally question why we thought having so many dogs was a good idea!

Dogs with a purpose

We also believe dogs can make an incredible difference to people’s lives.

Our own dogs have been involved in therapy and assistance work, visiting places such as hospitals and schools and showing just how special the bond between people and dogs can be.

We’re passionate about responsible dog ownership and about showing people what dogs can achieve when they’re given the right support, training, understanding and opportunities.

We know that choosing a breeder, choosing a puppy or looking for help with your dog can feel like a huge decision.

We’re not here to pretend that life with dogs is always perfect.

There will be muddy paws.

There will be chewed things.
